Gloria y Josué se conocieron a través de amigos cercanos de la iglesia durante una cena semanal que su amigo TN organizó en su complejo de apartamentos, llamado “The Quadrangle”.

Poco a poco, comenzaron a pasar tiempo juntos con amigos en común durante varios meses, disfrutando de actividades como jugar al frisbee, patina, y ir al autocine.

Un día, Josué le pidió a Gloria que lo acompañara a la boda de un amigo. Mientras bailaban juntos, se dio cuenta de que bailaban muy bien juntos. Unas semanas después, Josué finalmente le pidió una cita a Gloria. Le envió un mensaje de texto que dijo: "Nunca hemos pasado tiempo a solas, ¿te gustaría salir conmigo?". Por supuesto, ella no pudo evitar decir: "¡SÍ!". Tuvimos nuestra primera cita en el restaurante Alpha Omega, tomamos una bebida en One Day, fuimos a bailar música country en Melody Ranch, paseamos por el centro de la ciudad e incluso nos encontramos con una competencia de Ironman (corrida, natamiente, y bicicleta).

Después de unas semanas, estábamos tallando calabazas y formalizamos nuestra relación. Después de cuatro años, tres rupturas (debido a que no estaban listos y tenían cosas que resolver) y bastantes sesiones de consejería prematrimonial, aquí estamos, listos para dar el siguiente paso.

Estamos eternamente agradecidos a Dios por habernos encontrado en nuestras vidas. También estamos agradecidos con nuestras familias, amigos y la comunidad que nos ha apoyado a lo largo de estos años. ¡Vengan a celebrar, bailar y compartir nuestra boda con nosotros!

Gloria & Josué first met through dear friends from church while at a weekly dinner that their friend TN would host at his apartment complex, The Quadrangle.

Slowly, they began hanging out along with mutual friends over the course of several months - enjoying things such as disc golfing, skating, and going to the drive in theater all together.

One day, Josué asked Gloria to be his plus one to a friend’s wedding. While dancing - he began to notice that they naturally danced well together. A few weeks later, Josué finally asked Gloria out. He texted and said "I've never spent time with you one on one, would you like to go out sometime?". Of course, she couldn't help but say "YES!!". We went on our first date to restaurant Alpha Omega, shared a drink at One Day, went country dancing at Melody Ranch, walked downtown, and even ran into an Ironman competition!

Weeks later they were carving pumpkins and made things official. 4 years, 3 break ups (due to not being ready/having things to work out), and some wonderful premarital counseling later, here we are now, ready to get this show on the road.

We are eternally thankful to God that we encountered each other in our lives. We are also grateful for each of our family, friends, and supportive community members throughout our years together. Come celebrate, dance, and share our wedding together!
